About Young Adults with Arthritis
There are 200 different forms of arthritis and related musculo-skeletal conditions. Contrary to common perceptions, these conditions are not confined to the elderly. They are the most common chronic conditions in the community for people 35 and over. There is no known cause, and no cure.
In this 'Speaking From Experience', seven people aged 22-36 offer candid accounts of their experiences, covering diagnosis, personal impact, managing their conditions, employment, relationships and lifestyle. They discuss their situations, their uncertainties and some of their hard times. They also offer useful ideas to consider, tips to focus on and thought provoking comments. Preview the Arthritis Young Adults video online at RealTime Health.
